It is really hard in this “blogging” world to portray yourself…
I often think I AM being myself, being honest, truthful and up front.
But there are often times I find myself censoring…holding back.Source: bohemianwornest.tumblr.com via Brittany on Pinteregst
I worry what if I offend someone. What if someone takes what I say wrong. What if you don’t like the content? What if you judge me. What IF……
I had a friend of mine recently say that she doesn’t read my blog that often because she likes the ME in real life much better than the ME on my blog. IT MADE ME THINK….
how do you express yourself in words…how do you portray YOU, your expressions, your tone, your quirkiness?
So I am going to try more to be the REAL me….I am not going to censor, I am not going to hold back, I am going to try and show the REAL me, quirkiness and all :) I am going to open myself up, be vulnerable, be the real me and just hope you all still like me and read my blog!

I love your blog Brittany! And I would never stop reading it because you were being real and you :) in fact I would come back every single day because I just love blogs that tell it how it is. You are awesome and I’m looking forward to your future posts!

I love you all around! In real life, on your blog, in text messages, on the phone… I love it all! I think you’re doing an amazing job!!
Love YOU!
I started having something on my blog called “For What It’s Worth Wednesdays” where I tell it like it is, and invite others to submit something that’s on their minds as well. It’s been amazingly freeing! I try to be as real as I can on the blog every day but on Wednesdays I really feel free to say whatever the heck is on my mind, no filter. I’d love it if you would submit something to share!
I struggle with the same thing. I am so afraid to put myself completely out there. I don’t want to offend or hurt anyone and I don’t want to be rejected. I know that I need to be more myself but it is hard.
Brittany, I love you and your blog. You are an amazing example of someone who is genuine and thoughtful. So I say YES to being yourself :)
Be yourself–you are unique and you matter: )
