I got these fun new glitter and metallic sketch pens from Silhouette in the mail and couldn’t wait to see what I could create with them! At first I had a hard time thinking what to do besides making a card or something for scrap booking, since I don’t’ do that ;) But then I had a fun idea. I would do a quote on scrap book paper using the sketch pens!

 Here is the quote/printable that  I decided to use:

 Here is how I made it :

• First I made the quote in my silhouette program {adjusting the paper size to be 5×7 to fit in my frame}

• Then I picked the paper I wanted to use as the background and my sketch pen color {i used a black glitter pen for this one} inserted into my silhouette machine, selected the sketch pen and then pressed CUT
  

• and a craft FAIL! Lol I am not sure WHAT I did…I think I pushed then pen down too far, so I took it out and put it back in and tried again with another piece of paper!

• YA! second time worked like a charm! It’s hard to see it glittery from the camera but it has such a pretty shimmer to it! you can even see it through the frame!
