I was having a dinner for my father in law’s birthday over the weekend and wanted a fun way to set the table. I had seen some chalkboard chargers on pinterest before thanksgiving and thought I’d give them a try. So quick and easy! LOVED how they turned out. It’s pretty self explanatory but I took a few pics anyway!
You can write the person’s name…a quote…the occasion! ANYTHING and use them over and over for all different parties and occasions!
After, it’s also a cute way to let your kids draw and display their artwork!
The best part is…the charger was at the dollar store along with the chalk, and the spray paint was only $3 and can be used for other projects! Super cheap but darling!
I love it!!! Can they be washed or was that just a crazy question ;) Also, how do you rough it up? Glad you were able to be fun & creative & I’m sure the dinner was a big hit!

You can wipe them down but they are not “washable” also, I just rubbed the chalk on my concrete outside first to rough it up otherwise the sharp edges scrapped the paint off the charger :)
I love this! So great… I have a whole set of chargers that I don’t use because I rarely use the color in parties so now I will have a set of chargers I can use for almost every party.
