DIY Sharpie Deer head silhouette canvas

This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group™ and Sharpie, but all my opinions are my own.  I only indorse products I use and shops I really do love. #pmedia #StaplesSharpie

I am not the best at buying new holiday decor! I always tell myself “what’s the point it’s only up for a couple weeks anyway” or something to that extent but MAKING something for the home for the holidays is a whole other ball game! It’s now secret that I have a LOVE for Staples and all things office related {strange? Maybe but I do} and I have a TRUE love for Sharpie Markers…I have a whole drawer full of them!

So, It was about time I broke out of my rut and busted out some of my coveted sharpie markers from Staples and favorite gold glitter to create this darling deer head silhouette artwork!

This was so easy to do and super affordable!

Here’s how I made mine….

First a grabbed a canvas at Joanns {they were 50% off so it came to $5}
I painted the whole thing red with craft paint and before I dried I randomly sprinkled gold glitter around the edges
Let it dry for a couple hours
I then took the deer head silhouette I found by searching on google and cut it out with an exacto knife
I traced the image using my black fine point Sharpie Marker

Then colored the whole thing in using my same Sharpie marker
finally using my gold Sharpie Metallic marker I lined the edges of the Deer head

Best part? NO wait time to dry! YES! now go display it proudly in your home!
The whole thing only cost me about $15 including the canvas and 2 packs of Sharpie markers at Staples!

Don’t forget that SHARPIE markers are on sale right now at your local STAPLES store! I scored 4 packs for only $20!

Now is a great time to stock up for all your crafting and art needs!
