DIY lip exfoliator {a tutorial}

Ok I am SO SO SO excited to introduce our NEWEST contributor for hair and make up…the lovely JENNA from “the life of the wife“….your going to instantly love her as much as I do…promise!

{ummm the cutest right?}

Hey guys! I feel like I need another word for excited (I know, I know, you’re saying –  use a THESAURUS, genius) because excited just doesn’t cut it today! My lips feel awesome and almost nothing is better than that! :)

You will soon realize, that I live for beauty, makeup and little tricks I can use to make myself feel awesome – because who doesn’t want to feel MORE awesome if you can, right? :) SO…since it’s Winter, and my lips basically fall off my face because it’s so dry now, I thought I would share this sa-weeeet little tutorial with y’all.

The best part? It’s free 99. Holla! I have Honey, Olive Oil & Brown Sugar lying around somewhere…I KNOW you do. Pull ‘em out…cause here we go!

2 TBSP HONEY (I used organic)

Mix all ingredients together, and gently stir together for 10 to 15 seconds, until you have a ooey-gooey (what? It’s TOTALLY a technical term) mixture.

Now, you can use your finger and dip it in the yummy smelling mixture, or you can use a toothbrush (which I recommend). Gently exfoliate your lips in a circular motion for about 20 seconds. Then rinse off your lips. And BAM!! The softest lips of your life, people.

Pucker up…put your best lipstick on..and PLANT one on your man. And then thank me later. :)

You can also put the rest of the mixture into a jar and save it for later on. They would be GREAT and super cheap Christmas gifts too!

Hope you enjoyed this! If you try it, let me know how it went!! See y’all next month!!
