It was just a random Wednesday night about 7:45pm…I was feeling SUPER sick and hadn’t eaten dinner yet
I got a call from my friend Lori asking me to go to dinner with her after she dropped her kids off from dance
I was reluctant at first feeling so sick but figured I better eat SOMETHING and I had no food in my house – she picked me up 20 min later
we walked into our regular dinner spot, Happy Sumo, it took all my strength to even get up and go….
as soon as we walked in the door we were shocked…a full house. packed!
Waiting was the last thing I wanted to do but out of the corner of my eye I spotted a long time friend of mine….as i walked up to hug her I looked over and realized it was MY HUSBAND she was having dinner with! ha!
YES I can not make this up…it really happened!
I kept my cool, after all we are separated – we are were however still legally married {as an update – we are now officially filed for divorce}
I made small talk for a while, asking about her life and daughter and work, etc and then thankfully they called me and Lori to sit….
WHEW saved by the uumm hostess ;) that was awkward! My friend couldn’t believe how cool I played it off and to be honest I was cool, and calm, and my heart wasn’t even racing.
Everyone deserves a happily ever after right? I am ready for mine…I am ready to find my happily ever after!
