It has been HOT here in Utah the last few days…80-90 people! But the only bad thing about that is you can only take OFF so many layers…verses my favorite season of Fall where you can always add if you get chilly. So I am struggling to find clothes that keep me cool yet look like I tried…So today I welcomed my new “sailor” dress from head over heels. Not sure why white and navy always make me feel like a SAILOR but it does and it’s not a bad thing…RIGHT ;) So I decided – It was a perfect choice for the day!

So I want to go shopping and get a few more summer items…Not sure what to get though…hhmmm Dresses are nice but sometimes i just want to feel more “casual” if you know what I mean…or maybe that makes me lazy. Crap!
In other news…I am just putting the finishing touches on my family room! The reveal is coming MONDAY…Here is a little sneak peek to hold ya over :

Sorry this was kind of a random post…but that has been my brain lately…. random thoughts that bounce in and out through out the whole day! I could probably fill a book with all the thoughts that bounce in and out…hhmmm anyway…

I’ve stocked up my closet with maxi dresses. I love them because of their versatility. I can dress them up or dress them down. Layer them. Use them as a skirt. And they are so comfortable! I also have stocked up on fun colored denims!

that dress is adorable! i love maxi dresses because i always feel decently put together, but ridiculously comfy at the same time. i just bought my first long skirt too and am having so much fun pairing it with different brightly colored tank tops too!

Darling! I’m in northern Utah and we’re still in the 70′s (I sat through a soccer game in the rain yesterday!) so I’m looking forward to 80′s and 90′s! I’m not sure I could pull it off but my daughters could rock it! :)
