*** THIS CONTEST HAS NOW ENDED! NO FURTHER COMMENTS WILL COUNT TOWARDS THE GIFT CARDS**
So it’s been a while since I’ve posted. I know. But if I am going to break the silence it’s going to be about something important. So let’s talk about it.
As some of you remember, I went gluten free, dairy free and sugar free a couple years ago but only for 3 months. And it was rough. Fast forward 3 years and I am now completely gluten free and plan on staying that way unless my body by some miracle decides it doesn’t hate gluten anymore. Ha! *wishful thinking* One of the hardest things about being gluten free for me is social eating and convenience. I miss being able to just order whatever sounded good or I craved.
I have been CRAVING pizza lately! Every time I see someone eat it or order it I swear it makes my mouth water. I’ve even tried just eating the toppings – NOT THE SAME. So when I found out that Pizza Hut® was coming out with a gluten free crust from my fav gluten free brand Udi’s® I was super excited to try it. I had my reservations at first… I was worried it would be too cardboard tasting or overly chewy. Man was I wrong. I can honestly say that I PREFER Pizza Hut’s “Gluten-Free Pizza” made with Udi’s certified gluten-free crust over regular pizza. It has a thin and crispy crust that I would have NEVER guessed was gluten free! You guys – trust me! You have to try it!
I introduce to you… Pizza Hut’s “Gluten-Free Pizza” made with Udi’s certified gluten-free crust
I was so in love with the taste and flavor of Pizza Hut’s gluten free pizza that I KNEW I had to send it to my newlywed sister and her husband for an at home date night. My sister is also gluten free and struggles with the fact that her husband is not and wants to order pizza on the weekends while watching a game or having friends over but they can’t unless she eats something different. LAME. So I put it to the challenge. I ordered one for her with her choice of toppings and one for him with his choice of toppings. THEY BOTH LOVED IT! He said he couldn’t even tell it was gluten free and would totally order it again – and of course my sister was in heaven to finally have a slice of yummy pizza that was actually delivered and didn’t have to deal with the hassle of making it herself!
I mean how cute are they?
So my final vote? YOU MUST TRY IT! Gluten free or not – it was amazing and I can’t wait to be able to order it again! In fact, SheKnows wants you to try it too so they are giving away a $100 Pizza Hut gift card for you to have your own Udi’s gluten free pizza party at home!
