a cover up {wiw}

I had a little accident last weekend and flipped on a four wheeler :-/ LUCKILY I wasn’t hurt except for a few bruises…one of which is right on my calf/shin of my leg and reallllyyy ugly! which makes it pretty hard to get dressed in 75 degree weather unless I want a million looks and comments from people asking me WHAT happened…???

{this was the day after it happened…it looks way worse now – and pretend you can’t see that my legs are hairy..mmmkkay thx}

So I have two options : pants or boots….and with it being almost 80 degrees today, I went with boots! I call this look :

My country country cover up!

{Boots – steve madden, shorts – see through soul, tank – nordstrom BP, shirt – forever 21, necklace – h&m, watch – michael kors, earrings – coming soon to Love Stitched}

I am loving the little statement necklace and pop of color from my new H&M necklace ;)Now I just need a tan… looking a little pastey :-/

    I love the boots with shorts and skirts look. I’m just too much of a scaredy cat to try to pull it off. I’ve had my eye on some super fun boots at Cavendars – but I’m afraid to spend a big chunk of money and then never wear them! You make it look easy!

    Glad that you’re okay!! Scary! I’m going on a 4-wheeling trip with my in-laws over Memorial day weekend and I’ve never been on one and am absolutely terrified!! Your bruise confirmed my fears, I think I’ll be curled up on the couch with my kindle instead :) What a fun way to cover it up though- love the outfit! I can never seem to find cute clothes at Forever 21 but you seem to have good luck there

    If you have a second, check out my blog! I’m just getting started and would love some pointers!

    Brittney-
    I am so glad you are ok! Love your outfit as usual, but yes Quincee’s BOutique is right here in Utah. They are located in American Fork, but I just do all my shopping by calling them. I think they might know me a little too well ;). Also I would love to talk to you about setting up something with my new necklace line. They are the j.crew knockoff bubble statement necklace. Check out my blog and see if your interested. XOXO

    First of all, you look ADORABLE!! I totally wish I could rock cowboy boots and shorts like that. And second, omg, you flipped your four wheeler? How scary! My sister in law did that when we were in Park City last year and it landed on her and we ended up in the ER. Luckily nothing was broken or fractured. Get some rest, keep it elevated.

    Heart you!
