I know, I know. It’s not even Christmas yet. But by the time New Years rolls around, you’ll be thankin’ your lucky stars you read this early!
I always need some help figuring out a great NYE look AND what I should throw in my purse..just in case! I mean, midnight is LATE for me to stay up now-a-days!
Here are my must-have-need-em-gotta-have-em essentials for New Years Eve:
1 – Bobbi Brown Sparkle Eyeshadow (in Taupe Ash Brown) - You definitely need sparkle on NYE. So sparkle it up! I love this eyeshadow because it’s not like tacky-sparkly (hehe) and it STAYS PUT.
2 – Nars Lip Gloss ( in Deep Wine) - Dark lips on New Years is a must. This gloss is my all time fave.
3 – Revlon Colorstay (in Backstage) - I just discovered this lipstick, and it is amaaaazing. And again, it stays PUT. Cause who wants to reapply their lipstick every 30 minutes, especially when you’re partying!?
4 – Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush (in Bright Pink) - Do you notice a theme here? This blush won’t budge all night. Even if you’re sweating your tush off from dancing all night. LOVE.
5 – Lighted Mirror - GENIUS. I never leave home without my lighted mirror. You wanna look perfectly kissable for the stroke of midnight, right?
6 – Hair Ties from The Tye - Just in case your beautiful done curly do goes flat. Or to use after you’ve kissed your honey, taken pictures..and just want to look like a schlub again. :)
7 – Origins GinZing Caffinated Eye Cream - Put this on BEFORE you go out. It will make your eyes look bright & shiny & perky. Who doesn’t want that!?
