Summer Orange Rolls – a Recipe

this is for sure comfort food and there is NOTHING healthy about it…BUT it is yummy and quick and easy!

My family loves to make this in the dutch oven when we go camping or it’s great to bring to a summer bbq

There are only a few ingredients and a handful of steps…hope you like it!

Ingredients
  • 3 packages of refrigerator biscuits {the small tubes- they usually only come in a four pack}
  • 1 stick of butter
  • ¾ cup of sugar
  • 1 cap full of orange flavoring
  • zest from ¾ of an orange

Instructions
  1. Place biscuits standing up around the center of a bundt pan
  2. In a small saucepan melt butter and sugar together on low until sugar is dissolved
  3. Then add in the orange flavoring and zest – mix well
  4. Pour sugar mixture over the top of the biscuits
  5. Plane in a preheated 350 degree oven
  6. bake for 22-25 min until center is done and lightly brown on top
  7. let rest 5 minutes then turn out on serving dish
